Hey guys.

So about a week or so ago I started getting an intermittent issue with my zigbee stuff. Seemingly at random all the zigbee items become unavailable. Restarting home assistant usually brings them all back online…. It’s a mix of sonoff door sensors and hue lights.

I’m using a sonoff universal dongle https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09KXTCMSC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

It’s all run fine without any problems since December 2022

After the problems started I update ha (core and os) but the problem persists…. Anyone got any ideas?

at this point i think im about ready to chuck the dongle in the bin and go another route, but the thought of reconnecting all my hue lights is not one i relish, let alone setting up all the automations again. blugh... i just dont get it.

iv enabled "debug" logs but cant actually find any logs for it either....

if this carries on the wife is going to demand i chuck the whole thing in the bin and go back to "normal dumb stuff" or maybe change everything over to wifi (that would be an expensive option)

Strange. What zigbee channel are you running on?

Where can I see that?

Depends. Are you using zigbee2mqtt or the default ZHA integration?
I assume zha, and the default channel for zha is 15.
https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zha/#defining-zigbee-channel-to-use
If you are using modern devices, such as the hue bulbs you mentioned, you can safely change to channel 25 which can reduce interference caused by nearby WiFi since it has the least amount of overlap.
Another option is using zigbee2mqtt instead of zha.
Unfortunately both of these options require rebuilding the network. If you do change channels i would suggest pairing your oldest devices first to make sure they are compatible with the new channel.
