#Zigbee2MQTT Devices went unavailable after power outage

Hello, as mentioned in the title and as you can see on the image, the left aligned devices are not reconnecting to my Home Assistant. Had an power outage and after that, it looks like this.

This happened already few months ago when I had switched my Zigbee USB to another USB port. Almost same thing and the fix was at that time to reconnect everything back.

It sounds just not real to have to do this everytime, what, I have a power outage.

Any suggestions how to troubleshoot this maybe? Thanks a lot! ❤️

I just tried both IKEA buttons and IKEA Lightbulb, and nothing 😭

Does "button kitchen ..." also doesn't reconnect?

teal matrix
#

Yeah, still nothing 😦

#

I tried all of them, pressing the pairing button shortly, clicking on them, turning them on and off etc etc. Rebooting HA, everything 😄

This is one of the errors when trying to turn off a LIGHT that reports as AVAILABLE

error 2023-01-26 20:05:58Publish 'set' 'state' to 'Kuhinja Stropna 2' failed: 'Error: Command 0x50325ffffe45110a/1 genOnOff.off({}, {"sendWhen":"immediate","timeout":10000,"disableResponse":false,"disableRecovery":false,"disableDefaultResponse":false,"direction":0,"srcEndpoint":null,"reservedBits":0,"manufacturerCode":null,"transactionSequenceNumber":null,"writeUndiv":false}) failed (Data request failed with error: 'MAC channel access failure' (225))'

I mean, WTF

It's normally caused by interference

#

Have you got your stick on an extension cord? SSD far away from the device?

teal matrix
#

Just working on that right now. Like a week or two before, I just migrated to a SSD and the Z2M was on a extension cord 😄

Plugged the extension cord out, and rotated the SSD away from the Z2M device and Antenna

#
  • changed the Z2M wifi channel to something less condensed
#

would you look at that now

error 2023-01-26 20:55:55Publish 'set' 'state' to 'Stolna Office' failed: 'Error: Command 0x04cd15fffe6d024a/1 genOnOff.off({}, {"sendWhen":"immediate","timeout":10000,"disableResponse":false,"disableRecovery":false,"disableDefaultResponse":false,"direction":0,"srcEndpoint":null,"reservedBits":0,"manufacturerCode":null,"transactionSequenceNumber":null,"writeUndiv":false}) failed (Data request failed with error: 'No network route' (205))'

Interesting, I just removed the "Button Kitchen..." (IKEA) so I can reconnect it back and it just wont anymore. This is the second IKEA button today that it's not able to reconnect anymore. The first one was in the morning and I thought it's something wrong with it and now this one too. Interesting

tbh, everything went south this morning... Went the crazy route and restored a backup from 2 days ago 😄

Have you tried rebooting already?

teal matrix
#

It's just like the series 24hours... I'm running out of options, the time ticks away, everything stopped working 😄 I wen't from a smart easy going home to UGA BUGA THIS A ROCK.

#

I'm sorry, I'm blabbering as I'm waiting for all the reboots. I believe that is easier to get paid for doing nothing than having a day without HA issues.

This is the same error 4 - 5 device have

error 2023-01-26 21:38:19Failed to configure 'Sensor Krevet Mario', attempt 1 (Error: Bind 0x00124b002521d9a7/1 genPowerCfg from '0x00124b0024c0b0ed/1' failed (AREQ - ZDO - bindRsp after 10000ms) at Timeout._onTimeout (/app/node_modules/zigbee-herdsman/src/utils/waitress.ts:64:35) at listOnTimeout (node:internal/timers:559:17) at processTimers (node:internal/timers:502:7))

Reinstalling the whole thing. Found out it was crashing for some reason, installed Portainer and saw in the logs that the Zigbee2MQTT container was crashing... A lucky find.

teal matrix
#

Reinstalled everything, somehow, deleted all the configs and databases and after a while now, I managed to make it RUN again.

But the new issue, none of my devices can't pair 🙂

I'm ready for a bullet.

#

Not sure what to do anymore, thinking to go back to my SD Card installation as it was working perfectly. The moment I installed everything to SSD, I started to have issues on a daily basis.

had it on an extension cord, and removed it from it. I'm in this poop from 8 in the morning and nothing worked.

last thistle
#

How long is the extension cord?

teal matrix
#

30cm

last thistle
#

Hmmm that might be to short

#

I think mine is at least 1m

teal matrix
#

Your zigbee is actually 1 m apart from your HASS device?

#

Before I migrated to my SSD from an SDcard, everything worked just fine without any single issue + the Zigbee was directly connected to my RPi4

last thistle
#

The interference happens with the SSD

#

Not the "server"

#

So it should be as far away as possible from the SSD

teal matrix
#

I'll finish this setup now as I'm already in the Preparing Home Assistant screen, check if it works back on my SD card. Just to confirm there are no issues with my Zigbee device.

After that, I'll switch back to my SSD and extend the distance as much as I can.

Unbelievable the SSD is such a troublemaker

teal matrix

HOLLY MOLLY. @last thistle it was the extension cable... I could cry me a river over here.

#

Put an 1m cable, distanced the Zigbee as far as I could (well, max 1 m) and everything works now again...

#

OMFG this is just.. wow. Thanks for your help, you don't even know how much I appreciate it.
