I was clearing out some old files and I just remembered this was one of the mods I was working on before my break many months ago. I want to decide if it's worth the effort to publish if there's interest. I really wanted to try RedHttpsClient and this was the most useful thing I could think of
What it does: Get updates on your tracked mods on Nexusmods as in-game phone messages
ModWatch check every 30 minutes by default for updates on any of your tracked mods on Nexus and send updates like in the pic below
You can adjust how frequently the check is and the time period of the updated mods (i.e. updated mods in the last day, week, or month) via Mod Settings
(The message is sent from a new contact called ModWatch. and messages auto-delete - so there's no mess in your inbox. at any time, you only see one message/message with the latest update from Modwatch... )
In its current WIP form, you need to manually enter your Nexusmods API key (from your Settings page) and paste it in the mod menu. If I were to release this, I'd need to implement proper OAuth and that needs back and forth with Nexus staff, asking permissions, etc, so its a lot more effort to release. So if this is something you'd absolutely LOVE to download and use regularly, react to this message with an emoji or something 😄
Worst case if I just dont get the time to do all that and its just too much effort to publish, I might just put this as a discord exclusive and people can use it as they may
very cool
