Ready for y'all to check out and test! Public beta is now open!

I don't have as much playtime as I'd like to go through every aspect of the game and check everywhere, but.... it should be ready as is... crossed fingers!

Lemme know what you think! I like feedback and validation. XD

Comparison with the 'other' loot mod:

I made this mod because I wanted things the other mod did not do.

  1. This mod is completely non-manual (hence the name), you do not have to push a key at all, ever, except to manually loot what you don't have the mod set to loot.

  2. Ability to filter what does and doesn't get looted.

  3. The looting sound restores the original sound of what's actually being looted instead of being a generic sound for all items.

  4. This mod does not loot through walls just because you look at an item. Or, if you enable the option to loot through walls, you don't have to spin around to get everything. Both of these are improvements over the other system.

  5. Better prevention of looting stuff it shouldn't. (Though I haven't tested the whole game, I've tested some things the other loot mod hasn't handled correctly, and this mod does. I have faith that any issues encountered will be quickly fixable.)

It is my belief that these things make this mod superior, but of course the real choice is up to you.

Lazily leave no loot lost.

Also if anyone can think of a better picture, I'm not great at that.

a vacuum cleaner..?

Hmm. I'll consider it, along with any other suggestions, but now I must sleep and then work and some eating in there as well

I mean, V with a vacuum cleaner... 😂 we could make a prop and pose for it

Name it "Loot Ninja", fit V perfectly.KekAnim

Dunno if I want to associate with vacuum, then people will say the mod sucks XD

I honestly thought this would be more popular. Guess not a lot of people are playing CP2077 right now x.x

I gave it a go. It was a performance hit, for sure.

I'm not rocking a beast of a PC or anything: Ryzen 7 7700X & RX 7800 XT, but my FPS dropped from the 80s to the 20s. Melee combat got really difficult.

Would it be possible to only activate the scanning outside of combat? That alone would probably get me to install it again and give it another run.

I honestly might just remove the batch size option and leave just the target fps.

I left it at whatever the lowest setting was, but I'll give it another shot this weekend. I didn't really fiddle with any settings.

#

Aside from that, it was actually pretty cool. I didn't have to waste any time looking for Xs on the minimap

Probably something dumb on my end

modern salmon

You should actually set target fps high, to the fps you want, (and half the fps you want if you're using framegen like DLSS 3 or FSR)

My lifelong tradition of hobbling myself at every turn stands strong.

modern salmon

I mean, 'target fps' is supposed to be 'this is the fps I want'... I thought it was intuitive, my mistake

proper heart
#

Nah, I overthought it. Or underthought it. I didn't think it the way it was supposed to be thought.

modern salmon
#

The thought didn't think it through?

Funny enough, 'catering to the low fps' is the point of this setting so very similar XD

Trying this out now, everything seems to be working perfectly. The constant looting in this game was driving me crazy.

I'm interested in any examples of quests where the mod loots but the quest gets stuck

Curious about the 'knife' option at the bottom, are knifes classed completely different from other weapons?
