#Raven Microsystems Gemini II - Full Body Conversion

It's time for another round of cyberware.

My goal here was to create low- and mid-cost cyberware implants that interacted with each other somehow. To accomplish that, I've added a new stat for the Interlink Attunement System which every installed Gemini II implant feeds into. Using that stat as an Attunement helps turn each implant into something noteworthy as more cyberware gets installed. I'm hoping it gets someone inspired to really invest in the set as I release more updates; the Interlink rating will go as high as 40, but this first release only has enough juice to get it to 10 or 11.

I've also decided to lower the Cyberware Capacity cost as the tiers increase. Since so much of the Cyberware's oomph is coming from the Attunement, I wanted to provide some motivation to upgrade.

This is also my first real endeavor into redscript, so I'm pretty happy that I got the bonus to Cool skillchecks working. I did a little round of shadow-boxing in my office when I got the results I wanted.

It's just the first installment, but I'm still interested in suggestions or critiques.

I've already fixed a few typos and such, but I didn't feel like taking new screenshots.

you speak spanish? 😮

Not much. My team works with the Costa Rican office a lot, but I usually fall back on Google Translate when it gets too complicated.

oh, lol, I was about to dump a huge text in spanish

really good jobe mate

Thanks, man. It's been a ride so far... I told myself I was going to use redscript in my next mod and I started to get a little worried it wasn't going to happen.

lmao same

#

redscript is great but kinda confusing, at least for me

I primarily use SQL and Powershell at work, so TweakDB was OK to get into... object languages are not my wheelhouse, though

#

Speaking on which, I have to get some sleep. Later, man.

That's what I get for posting a mod at like 2am... I mistyped the name of the company. It's Microcybernetics, not Microsystems.

10,000 years of shame on my entire bloodline.

The full set so far, at 20 interlink points.

Maybe It's just me being dumb, but I feel it could be made more clear on how it works

That's exactly how it works

Also though, I could totally see this system taking off if you did one thing: made different "interlink" connections for each brand.

Make it a brand loyalty thing. If there's competing brands of cyberware with similar, but unconnected interlink systems, it makes it a game of balancing brand loyalty. Getting good ratings with one brand's interlink system mean getting bad ratings with the other brands you have installed because you have less of their tech.

In fact, I could even see it being a thing where all the cyberware already in game gets divided into brands with their own interlink systems. Getting a bunch of militech cyberware makes all the militech cyberware better, for instance.

#

Though that would probably be difficult. Instead, what I would request is more cyberware mods like this one with different interlink systems

#

Add in some varied brands of interlink so to speak

#

Or maybe, depending on how difficult modding is, and if you're willing to share the interlink secrets, I can take up the reigns on a competing brand

#

I'm sorry, this is a showcase thread, isn't it? I'll see myself out. No more polluting this thread

Nah, you're fine. It's as good a place as any to talk about it.

#

If you want to take a crack at it.

#

I chose Raven because they had a Full Body Sculpt in the tabletop called Gemini and it was special because it didn't look like a full body conversion. I thought that played well with the fact that V doesn't really look borged out regardless of how much chrome you chip in.

#

So this was my way of simulating a full body conversion without drastically overhauling how cyberware works.

yo i love your mod, but, i have many problems with the attunement system, every time i wanna make a package i have to go to the nexus page to know what items are in it, is it possible to add a lil tag under each cyberware to know wich package they are in? or just add the lists to the synergestic amplifier?

i would also like to add (although maybe it is wanted) that the Advanced Insulator doesn t give more projectlie launcher charges

# nocturne zephyr im no good modder can u give me a rapid explanation of how to do it plis? in dm ...

Sure, it's pretty easy:

  • Open the file ...\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks\RM Gemini II\RMGemini2_Module_Integumentary_AdvancedInsulator.yaml
  • Scroll to line 129 and change statType: BaseStats.GrenadesMaxCharges to statType: BaseStats.ProjectileLauncherMaxCharges. Be sure not to change the indentation; the line should have 12 spaces at the beginning to line up correctly with the preceding line.

You can do this with any text editor, like notepad.
