Skarmory is commonly used as an anti-setup Pokemon, having great bulk and a strong defensive typing that lets it check common offensive physical threats.

1st build: Thanks to a high Defense stat and great defensive typing, Skarmory is a good check to several physical attackers including Garchomp, Kartana, Tapu Bulu, Landorus-T, and Mega Scizor due to its access to Whirlwind and Toxic.
