The thing is: Like that (as it is now) there is nearly no chance at all to earn anything if you dont spend like 8 hours a day catchin... (and most of us dont have time to catch for 8 hours)... An event is wanted to be special and to bring special prices which makes everyone more active but with the new change there is nearly no difference to before. Before the change catching finally made you Profite again, but now... you catch for nearly nothing.

lmao the fact that u need to say "not to be rude" every few messages is a bad sign

Anyways here's my view on this situation:
Pros of increasing candy rates:

  • More rewarding for people catching pokes
  • Don't have to spend countless hours just to get a single redeem
  • Encourage people to catch pokes, play the bot as intended
  • Actually feels like Christmas
    Cons of increasing candy rates:
  • Redeems prices will drop, but only briefly
  • More mystery crates

Although there will be many in circulation during and after the event, redeems don't stick around for too long. Eventually they end up being used for a dex, sh chain, or just a collection. So while the price might temporarily drop, it won't have any long-lasting affects.

Santa is already giving tons of crates out. So if the amount of crates becomes too much, just lower the amount of Santa spawns, instead of nerfing candies.

So my overall opinion is to increase the candy rates. By how much? I have no idea lmao
