yeah id say its a pretty good deal

i just did a quick browse on stores for a HP envy x360 with your specs

mostly around 1k usd

#

i would also look into the weight/size of the laptop

#

if you are going in person for campus take into consideration the weight of your bag

books/lunch/notebooks/laptop/etc

based on where you buy the laptop i believe they may have a return policy

i dont know if returns are allowed if they are on a discount
