I'm learning to draw fast cz I'll visit art museums, where I'll see statues and paintings. I'll have a notepad and have to make It quick

wanna help, focus on mapping everything, gestures, and shapes (and i mean all the shapes, negative and positive space/shape can help with hard poses), shadow shapes as well. I recommend quick sketches with a ballpoint pen and shadow-blocking practice. But at the end of that execute what you learned from that exercise, so you dont flop there. If you mess up there, take a picture, because at least you have one to complete what you drew if you are a bit slow

Dealing with multiple dimensions is something u need to get used, i would say that 2d is a realm that you can explore more gestural illusions of form and color' But the magic can be also the same for sculpture.

I keep my practise for both 3d and 2d, for 2d my entire focus is gesture_ when i say say gesture i mean spirit of feeling and motion not the copy of a surface'' copying a surface isnt the goal but to put a spirit on the paper

How do I develop my drawings

try to draw as little as possible, only when you feel inspired. dont listen to criticism or advice because theyre just jealous and trying to pull you down. instead be absolutely confident, even if you have to fake it. dont push yourself, always stay as comfortable and do what you’re good at because it’s not worth trying something new and failing at it. use filters to tweak your drawings to make it look more flawless than it is. if you find drawing takes too much free time that you can instead be using to play valorant or watch porn, hop on mid journey to generate “hyper realistic black and white realistic portraits done in pencil”. because the end result is pretty much the same and no one can tell.

hi guys, i just wanted to ask something

given the fact that i have to start thinking about my future and about where do i want to go to start doing something for what i want to become later, i was thinking about going in an art school in the US... the only problem's that, avoiding unfortunate situations like bad teachers for example, a huge problematic is given by falling in an infinite dark abyss of debts, caused by the cost of these art schools that would give you a "not so sure" job that will never cover how much you actually paid to study there.
Obviously i'm saying all of this because i'm not from the US neither from the UK so, i'm really in a hell of a situation right now with all the information art students want to give about choosing an art school in America.
What should one do? T_T

You just need to be able to produce great artworks.
2. ART will not be something you enjoy doing anymore it will become your job.
If you stop working on your art works you won't have a income.

What make your art valuable.
Why are you different?
Why should people be interested?
If you have never sold any works of art right now how will having a degree change that?
If you can Answer that then consider it.

To be a personal artist you need the Ego to assert yourself and your art works and sell why your art is worth so much.

My suggestion is to work for 2 years after high-school then mabey consider something else.

Colleague and university is way over hiped for how important it is for jobs only 30% of jobs need a degree and let me put it like this you have 20-30 people finished there degree at the same time applying to the same job with the same experience.
You'd need to stand out more then the others to get into the career you want.
Because you can bet the othere 20-30 people are doing the same.

This creates a toxic highering prosses. It's kinda like if someone has 1000 matches on a dating app the can't commit to just one there's always someone "better" also creates a false ego and self value leading to toxic behavior.
