I study in a seperate room from my family it's pretty quiet most of the time

if so then just make that environment study friendly. Idk how you're going to do it but I would say just use the things needed to study at that moment and nothing else. if is your laptop and tablet and note book just that. and then get some focus apps on them to help you not get distracted. Put your phone in another room or just turn it off and toss it somewhere (lol). Study in time blocks, if you can't focus much then don't sit much and study, time your sessions (15 mins, 10, 20, 30) find out which of these times you're comfortable with when studying. I really can't help much too but if you haven't read deep work by Cal Newport you should also. (it specifically talks about how well you can focus to study/learn hard things). I would say is all about your environment and mindset, find ways ask others for help on how to focus.

it helps to order your tasks by time needed to complete them. by doing this, you can gain "momentum" from completing smaller tasks and snowball from there.

I recomend you, planning your carrer since the beggining, making contacts between researchers and teachers, learn about journal publishing or teaching requirements in your country. Depending on your path, you'll need to have a lot in advance in order to get some opportunities

I chose to continue until my PhD in which I'm working right now. You can be a researcher, a teacher in secondary school, work in administration... Depending on your prospective, the path is different. But in any case, you have to start making contacts since year 1. Some scholarships and opportunities require a good academic history.

Hello, idk if this is the right channel to ask this but:
I've dealt with some stuff in the past, and only realizing now what i want, i discovered that i was studying for a university degree that i really didn't care about. At that time, like 6 years ago, there wasn't a good course to follow in my local area about Software engineering, so i joined an electrical IoT/IT engineering course.
I didn't progress at all and i didn't pass a single exam, except the english one (in my country english is not the native language and actually very few know it).
Since i've understood now what i want to do, i want to change course, but that means i won't be able to follow regularly since i have to wait this september.

1. Does it make sense to study for 1 year by myself the entire course of analysis 1 and 2, linear algebra, physics 1 and 2 and then do these exams all at once as i'm in the new course the next winter session? (next january/february). Is it remotely possible even?

I'm 25 years old, and i'm afraid i'm really too late to pursue a career in IT/Software engineering. I'm also worried beacuse i'm a burden for my parents.
I was trying to get a job as a front-end/back-end developer in companies, so that i could study in an online university as a side task but no luck so far.

2. Does it make sense to further delay my working career in favor of a 3 year Software Engineering degree?
3. Should I just prepare myself with an online certification course in CS, get into the working business possibly as a full remote worker, and then use the free time to study?

because the purpose of the column callout is to easily tell what space of the building you're referring to, right? Like "I want a bathroom in A-1" so you can check the blueprint and can see where the space is located. In my case, the rooms are in between or don't even align with the columns, so it's hard to tell.

Yes you can become a ML engineer after a BS in computer science, though you likely will have to either do a MS in addition, or you might be able to get by with only taking a few ML/AI bachelor's level courses. In either case you're going to need statistics, and likely linear algebra.

A BS in CS will teach you quite a broad spectrum of sub-disciplines, so in itself it might not be enough to get a job as a ML engineer.

I'm pretty sure that comes down to habits. If you try and study on a day where you've been stimulating yourself a lot with things that heighten your dopamine levels, studying will sit drastically lower than that making it more difficult.
What I find helps is taking a 30 minute break from any kind of stimuli to sort of reset and then get to studying ofcourse not getting on my phone again from that moment otherwise you'll have the same problem

I am not very knowledgeable at the moment, but I believe meditating may help you with your last problem. I also get distracted, but due to my meditation practices, I quickly become aware of it and get back to work. I hope this helps.

I was in 8th grade and got a choice for optional subjects. Hindi-IT-Marketing. I always wanted to IT. I love technology and Me and my dad are not interested in Business so no Marketing but suddenly my elder sister entered and my mom too and they made my dad think Hindi(India's National language) would be better and they forced me to take it. I was never good at Hindi.
Bcz my frnds chose IT My section got changed and I was alone from my old class who chose Hindi. I was so depressed at that time.

Final paper of Hindi is of 80 marks and IT is just 50 marks and it's way easy to get full marks in IT.

Well I play guitar too, I would learn 3/4 basic chords like: Em7, Dsus4, A7Ssus4 and Cadd9, and when you've learned those notes, try to play them alongside on another. and then find songs which includes these chords to learn strumming patterns. I also recommend studying pentatonic scale patterns and "spider walk" to get your fingers used to the guitar, even pro's do this to warm up

I don't know how difficult your workload/personal life is, however, I just cut off video games. Video games was one of my biggest tools to procrastinate. However, it's best to do the work before accessing any sort of entertainment; doing the work now is the best estimate on how heavy your workload is compared to playing video games for 7 hours and the workload being 7 hours.

Similarly it can be said to outside activities, some people finish assignments days before they are due. This means you are free for a couple days to do whatever you like. However, there will be weeks where exams and essays are stacked and you will not have any free time.

If you are still having difficulties, try attempting a class's assignment for a couple of minutes, something that is more interesting to learn, finish it and move on to the next assignment, cut off any distractions if possible.

If you need anything else, ask. Hope this helps.

I do recommend learning how to study before entering college, I know some of my peers complain that they haven't learned to study before which caused some issues in their first semester. Give an hour study a try and adopt it. You can later turn it into intervals.

hey prez. been in a similar situation in the past. I also do APs and stuff. i try to manage friction.
I remove those small things that make me feel like procrastinatinating and also add some stuff to hopefully make studying difficult stuff less dreadful.
If i getup to do phhyics in the morning, i'll have a good playlist on, i'd be comfortable and try not to overwhelm myself. promise yourself a reward at the end to work towards to. "If I finish these two Unit test Preps by today, i'll watch this movie." or something like that.

try to identify your addictions and find a way to make it harder for you to access them

for example, i had a problem with checking my phone too frequently so i decided to deactivate all my socials and delete the apps off my phone that provide no productive use to me

if you can’t deactivate any socials, try using it on a device that’s hard to get comfortable with (e.g. instead of using instagram on my phone, i have it on my laptop bc it’s less enjoyable to use it on there)

one thing that also helped was setting my phone display to grayscale to make using it less enjoyable lol

a more general tip is to identify your priorities and things that are important to you. write down the reasons why studying is important to you / how it’ll matter in the future and keep reminding yourself of those reasons

Everybody has their own reasons for being focused and disciplined -- so you gotta remind yourself about your reason
