i studied all my life by writing lessons at school then reading it again at home .... now when i went to the medschool i found my self rewriting all my pdf lecturers then reading it from my notebook because it better for me to memorise the things with my hand writing and i also started passing the exams and not failing at it .......... is this how my brain work or am just not used to studying using by printer or pc screen

am asking this because writing takes sooooo much time

have you tried other learning methods for a decent period of time, like a week or a month

if writing and rote memorization works for you then that's just fine, but yes, that takes a very long time and as a medical student your lecture powerpoints only get bigger and bigger in slide count... there are more efficient ways to learn other than copying down slides, but they may or may not work for you
