3 weeks into semester & any tips on time management/organization would be greatly appreciated. Background - currently working FT closing shifts typically 3-11 pm, schools days Tuesday/Thursday/Friday morning (work Friday as well) typically off Tuesday/Thursday as I attend class from 8 AM - 3:50 PM I’ll round up to 4 PM just to play it safe. Usually get anywhere from 2-4 hours of sleep a night (really a morning if you will, pretty much sit at my desk immediately after I shower & what not once I’m home from work). I’d like to start reviewing for Gen Chem haven’t taken a Chem class in 11 years (hs) did poorly in hs cause I didn’t give a shit back then. And I’m also taking a course on Coursera (just so I can try to get a better job as far as time/pay goes especially, hoping sometime this year). Thinking of taking Gen Chem in the summer & my last elective for Physics major. That way I can just take Calculus & Assembly language next fall (Dual Major CS & Physics).

The lack of sleep doesn’t bother me as I’m used to it. More so trying to figure out how/when to squeeze studying material outside of my classes this semester 4 classes, 15 credit hours. Math professor gives a pretty decent amount of problems sets lol review alone was 83 questions, each section of hw is well about 20 questions where from 25-60 at most I’ve seen thus far. Quiz every class so every Tuesday/Thursday. I have a planner. So guess I’m trying to get better at using it & developing a routine in some sense lol

first of all prioritize tasks! given the lack of time you have you need to focus on some stuff more than others and be okay with sometimes it not being perfect. Create a planner and schedule everything, this would help utilizing even the smaller time windows. Take care of yourself and try to sleep more, sounds silly but your motivation is everything so do everything you can to keep it high. Dual major and work together with a balanced life is not easy, good luck!
