i have a senior friend who is in NMIMS mumbai, as uk its a good college and he is a guitar enthusiast since he was young and now he fixes guitars part time and earns from it too, after college he said he wants to go into this field

and now he is actually working, he even said he had to travel to london for a work related trip so its pretty serious and we all have seen how hard he works, he probably scored a nice paying job due to good internship experience and gpa.

there’s no point for you to get annoyed about another person’s life. there’s always going to be someone who is doing better in life than you. rather than putting yourself in a negative mindset loop (ex. how come they have it better than me? it’s so unfair), use that energy to figure out ways to improve yourself.

if you’re unhappy with your working condition/job, find a better paying job or invest in learning a new skill to help you pursue a different career path. people who use social media for the most part show only the best aspects of their life and even then, it’s mostly overly glamorized. it’s not the best example of what most people typically go through. if whatever content you’re looking at is frustrating you, maybe it’s time to take a step back and take a break from it.

i agree with your points for the most part. most students are struggling financially and it’s very unfortunate that the US college system is very profit hungry. it’s a relatable struggle that i had to go through when i was in uni.

but you are way too invested into what this person is doing/saying. maybe the person is just trying to be humble or he doesn’t want those aspects to be his main selling point as a person. or maybe i’m wrong and they’re just a rich snob. but at the end of the day, it’s one person’s opinion. listening to someone with a different opinion than yours can be frustrating but it shouldn’t take up all your energy. just move on dude lmao, it’s not that serious. it’s not your life so why are you giving it as much attention as if it is yours?

ahaha yeah ive heard a lot of people just faking habits so they don’t lose their streak/xp. i personally didn’t have any problems and found it pretty fun, but stopped just because i wasn’t a fan of compulsively tracking progress
