Yeah i use a chrome extension called "Focus Mode" - quite simple you just put in the websites you want to block during a focus session and then hit the on switch when you are studying. It's not a blocker exactly as you can just switch it off with 1 button but the creator said he made it to encourage mindful browsing. So we start to notice our patterns and make mindful decisions to switch it off when we want to access those things.

I've found it to be good.
