Surprisingly not ! And the blowtorch really is optionnal, you can just make the cream and it would be enough

Or make the caramel in a pot and pour it on top, it will solidify

Top 3 desserts i made imo

So so simple to make :

• .25l of milk (i put some more because it's full milk)
• .25ml of whole cream
• 100mg of sugar
• 6 egg yolks (i put 3 from the start and kept adding if it didn't solidify)

Heat the milk until it boils, throw in the cream and sugar out of the fire
Once incorporated add in the yolks

Then the tricky part :
Boil some water, and make a water bath

Preheat the oven at 180c (350f)

Put the cream in an oven plate, which you'll put inside another over plate that is full of the boiling water

Wait 45mins

And then cool it off for at least 2 hours

If you're feeling fancy you can add the brown sugar caramel up top
