In an occasion after loading in after our games froze in co-op, i returned to singleplayer to find that all enemies that spawned, including bosses, would be non-hostile but take damage to the point of death, i could clear rooms with no pushback until i encountered a phase where a second wave NEEDED to spawn and it, well, didn't, so i had to close out and reload
