@rocky wasp any updates on this issue? I’ve had it happen 4 or 5 times, all in biome 5 but not always on the final boss. The death screen also looks like this (i did not die to a normal crocodile as it shows)

I dont think i even died to the Chimera bullet either. My score also quickly changed from 283775 to 283700

I had a similar experience just today. It was my first time beating the game, and it didn't save any of my gems. And it was super disappointing because I always go out of my way to hit the diamond rooms. I wasn't sure if it had something to do with beating the game or not.

I only saw the bug for beating the final boss reported but i have had it happen on not just the boss room so figured it was a different issue

I wanted to add that this also happens to me. Really annoying to have a chest after beating the final boss and not get any of the rewards.
