I'm doing a 3D printed mando cosplay, but the graphite powder won't really stick in the paint. What can I do? I used a glossy black paint (https://www.amazon.de/.../Dupli-Color.../dp/B07C47L19K...), and after it cured I put some powder on the piece with a makeup sponge and started rubbing it in, but the graphite fell off and the difference is barely noticable. (the left one is the black and the right is the one with the powder on)

Did you put clear coat on top of the paint?

Yeah you put the clear coat on and then after it's fully cured you buff the graphic powder into the clear coat with a cotton ball

You might want to do two coats of clear coat just so there's a little extra for the graphite powder too be pushed into
