Hey everyone 👋

I’ve got the Winter Soldier Vibranium hand STL from Do3D, but it’s split into several armor segments (made for wearable cosplay).

I’d like to have it merged into one solid hand, with all the small gaps between the armor plates (like you can see in the picture) closed, so it becomes a single, printable model.

The file is quite heavy, so my software struggles with it — I’d really appreciate if someone could help me fix or combine it properly 🙏

Or if anyone knows of an already solid version of this model, or a tutorial on how to do this kind of merge, that would be awesome!

Did you ask do3d if they can get you a combined file?
Otherwise, asking for help is ok, sending a paid file to someone to work on it is not.

Frank has some vids on using meshmixer to join files back into a solid object. Generally do3d files creators will have the parts laid put correctly/still in full orientation when imported in so it should be fairly simple
