What’s a good glue for Velcro and straps on pla +

I’ve been having complications gluing the straps and the Velcro and they either unstick from moving allot or adding tension I was using super glue but no luck any tips or recommendations product that can help me

I was gonna try gorilla glue brand contact adhesive

Haven't gotten it yet but it's similar to what I've seen the foam crafters use for straps

Get some super glue activator spray.

Mark off where you want the strap to go and put some extra thick superglue gel (cyanoacrelate) there.

Spray the activator on the strap and press it into place (use a dowel or something so you dont get superglue on your finger)

It sets in 5 seconds and holds very well.

should i stretch the strap while installing the straps or do i just not do that

and would it be a good idea adding the glue to the Velcro adhesion

Don't stretch and no glue on the strap. The activator will wick the glue into the strap and then immediately harden it

this maybe a dumb question but how would i add the velcro in the strap if i can't use the super glue gel

Super glue for attaching the strap to the armor.

Attaching velcro to the strap, sew it in.

@willow current Would E6000 industrial strength adhesive work aswell I’ll need to glue fabric on to foam as well as foam for support aswell

E6000 is my go to for flexible materials on flexible materials. I also throw a little bit of hot glue on there so I dont have to clamp it.

ill have to give them a try i should have a hot glue gun somewhere aswell

If you cant find it, definately get one. they are super useful. I use mine for test fitting everything before doing the superglue trick or e6000 cause its so easy to clean off after test fitting.

yeah ive used it for my first cosplay as glue didnt hold well but ill try the method hopefully itll keep everything secure
