Hello,

I’m using Cura and manually swapping filament for Hueforge designs until I can afford a bambu. This current one I’m doing was paused waiting for me to put the last color in (white). While at work the power went out.

Is it possible to leave the print on the bed. Re slice the model with just the white layers and print? Or will it try and print the white directly on the bed. Also when doing its 25 point level check it will hit the print with the probe

You should be able to modify the gcode to make it start from that specific layer, tho im not able to do it

Hi

#

This print was looking awesome. With a bunch of manual filament swaps. Sucks to loose it.

im pretty sure you could

Just need it to continue on the final white layers

Doesnt the print have a resume function?

I turned power loss off because it was causing zits and blobs on my print 😢

Ohh yeah makes sense

When writing to the SD card it would blob a little

I have the gcode. Pretty sure I just need the bed & nozzle to heat up and move to the proper layer start position.

No bed home/bed levelling sequence or prime line. But that’s way beyond me

so i found the layer it did the filament change at and deleted every layer before that. then i deleted the gcode for startup sequence; home, 25 point bed levelling, purge lines. so if i understand this right it will run this code and set all my values. start the filament change command which will allow me to load the white, it will then purge and move into position?

Should do

#

Aslong as you haven’t restarted the printer

#

Because it’d been zeroed from where it started rather then using any offsets it had

i turned it off because it was causing zits/blobs on my prints

#

i will try it again for hueforges and see how it looks

well my changes were a bust. nozzle moved to a random spot and started extruding tonnes of filament. then once it was done purging it started printing in the air

#

i think it lost its home location

went from this

to this

Now my nozzles over here
