Hello everyone, I'm curious if anyone could direct me to a video, forum, or someone with more knowledge about modeling? I am trying to model a piece with internal threading that aligns with an externally threaded model that scanned. The reason I cannot just scan the connector piece is because it is too long to fit onto the scanning platform and too narrow to let enough light in to scan it properly. I've searched the internet looking for the thread type to the point of exhaustion and would just like to get this model and print off of my plate. I will attach the file to this forum for those who'd like to take a look at what it looks like for themselves.

I wouldnt rely on a scan for something like threads. What program are you modeling in?

I downloaded blender. I have no prior experience with 3D modeling.
