#✅ - Intersecting geometry in Blender

Hi, y'all! I'm modelling an original Omnitrix design for a client, and I'm adding some pipes to the edges. I duplicated the edges and converted them into curves that I turned into pipes. My issue is that the pipes intersect with themselves on sharp corners, and it's causing Blender to crash whenever I use boolean union to join the pipes with the base. How can I remove the internal geometry from them?

EDIT: figured it out. I used "intersect (knife)"

I'm trying to merge all of the pipes onto this black part for easier printing
