What printer? Also, have you dried the filament?
Your filament has moisture. You need to bake it or dry it.
Okay I'll buy a dryer and see 👍
Is there any u recommend also I have used the filament like this for ages but this is the first time its happened since I got it so like a year plus and I have a ender 3 max
Get a sunlu or eSun one
Filament over time gets moisture and can snap
It was sealed in the bag it came in and I opened it like 10 mins before I used it
Ok
Huh
Then it must have been not sealed
It was
Like a little hole can already damage it
I heard all the air release when I opened it
I dont doubt, but a little hole in the plastic can still damage it
If it's small it keeps air in
Or they sealed it moist
Alr
If that's not the case I saw something about the thing that feeds the filament idk the name being to tight and crushing it?
No...? I mean the e3 max has a bowden tube but i honestly never heard of too much tension...
Ive heard of too much pression, but that would cause clogs, not snapping, also dry pla is REALLY hard to pull apart
A printer itself wouldnt be able to
Ok thanks
No problem
Filament can also come with moisture from the factory
had multiple rolls like this, drying it fix it

Clean the extruder gear, might have some filament leftover in the indents, happened to me
