How much do you value your skill and time it will take?
I'll be working on it when I'm not busy with school, so I don't have a good estimate for time.
I was thinking about $20 per hour(?)

@swift olive Here's a quick calculation of how much you can bill for any given project. This is your BASELINE production cost. You can arbitrarily charge higher (or lower) at your discretion.
#1 : Material = How much material did it cost?
ex: 30$ Spool + Shipping. Print = 100g (1kg spool) => 100/30 = 3.33 $
#2 : Time = how do you value your time?
ex: 20$/hour is good for starter level - calculate how long you'll spend on the print. ex: 2 hours (modeling, slicing, possible failures, etc) = 40$
I would not include print time in this since you're not actively working on it.
#3 : Machine & Other cost = This one is tricky and it's also optional. If you're looking into making a 3d print business, you'll want to factor in your machine cost and maintenance costs. A good rule of thumb would be to estimate how quickly do you want to "pay back" your machine. Here's how I calculate mine:
(Cost of the machine/printing hours) ex: 600$ machine I want paid back in 300 printing hours, I would add 2$ to every print I sell per hour of print time.
So for a 50g 2 hour free print taken off the internet perfect first print with time valued at 20$/hour :
15min slice : 5$
50g : 1.75$
Other cost : 4$
Total 10.75$
Thanks for the detailed advice, but I'm not printing atm. I'm just modelling in Blender
This is basically what he wants me to model
