Hey! I recently got an stl file that has no rods, and im having a hard time adding symmetrical rods to it. I know exactly the placements and measurements I want, but I can't seem to execute it properly.

Meshmixer doesn't let you add stuff symmetrically and it kills me using it, but is it really the best option?

On the image shown, piece #1 had a 10mm rod added to it via 3D Builder. As you can see, the slicer treated it as a structure and started printing walls, thus it won't be 10mm.

Piece #2 is a hole provided in the .stl, its clearly meant for a 10mm rod.

Piece #3 is a comparasion piece, it also has a 10mm rod. If you compare 2 and 3 you can clearly see its meant to be 10mm.

How can I consistently, and symetrically add rods to my stuff in a way that image #1 doesn't happen?
