#Best way to put a printer in standby?

Use the Close button when your issue is resolved.
I think you could leave it on idle until the filament arrives. If that isn't out of the question, maybe stick with what you've got.
I wouldn't mess with it any further until the filament arrives.
The next thing I would try, though, if I didn't care if the print failed, would be shutting the printer off and then starting it back up again Tuesday and hoping the auto-resume holds up. My issue with this function is that my printers consistently suffer a layer shift after auto-resuming from power loss.
It's about halfway through an 800g print, so I'd like to be able to save it. The power loss resume was also something I've considered, but I'd like to be able to at least cool the nozzle down.
I'm worried about leaving it on for several days with the same bit of filament sitting in a hot nozzle, especially since I have a CHT nozzle on it.
Hm. Could you lower the nozzle temp to something like 60C, then hope you can bring it back up?
800g does seem like a big loss, but your wait time is awefully long.
That way the filament in the nozzle would harden and be below the glass transition temp, but the printer wouldn't have to keep up the nozzle temp too.
I think I could do that.
