I just got a Neptune 3 MAX and I noticed when trying to level the bed and initial setup, that there is a black piece on the back of the printer head that is hitting the bed before the nozel. I was wondering how to fix this because I know its not supposed to as well as it was not like that in the tutorial video that came in the sd card. (also sorry if you see this message 2 times i accidentally closed the thread)

you mean in the left back corner? that square thing?

#

if that is what you mean, it doesn't hit the bed before the nozzle, its lowest part sits a bit higher and it is the sensor that measures the distance to the bed.

#

if you ever have to change that nozzle btw, a standard mk8 nozzle ha cone shape thats too sharp, you cannot get a wrench to fit around the hex part, because the plastic cover around it stick out too far, ☹️

#

i never saw a proximity sensor fit in such a way that it touched the bed, while the nozzle still has som room.

I got in touch with them and they linked a video showing that you need to take the nozzel kit apart and readjust by lossening and tightening screws holding the sensor
