Ive been 3d printing for like a year and have been finishing prints by sanding, priming, sanding, painting, clear coat. But Ive seen many people use filler primers online, usually like a peach color, and they seem to come out better. What brand do people use?

What do you think of the Duplicolor one? I am going to use Duplicolor paint so I thought using their Filler Primer would be best to make sure it doesn’t react to the paint weird. Or do you only have to worry about that with clear coat?

and for EU you probably would use MOTIP filler-Primer

I think a lot is personal preference. Seems a lot of youtubers have different favorites. Darkwing Dad on Youtube has some comparison videos of some lesser-known primers

The MOTIP stuff is called "spray-putty".

It's not a matter of preference, but availability mainly.

#

and i know bondo spot putty is only 6 dollar or something, but you cannot buy it in the eu, you have to order it an then it costs that 6 dollar, + 49 dollar packetmail + 23% vat over all that not realy an option, unless you are someone like elon musk

#

here it's a matter of finding alternatives for all that stuff you can buy at home depot here in the EU

and anything from the UK is too expensive too, since brexit, high mail costs and VAT
