change layer width to 0.6mm
is that the only setting i need to change outside of the nozzle size setting?
yes, the rest of the settings will adapt to your nozzle size/line width settings.
unless you have manually set number
if you are not sure, you can always create a new profile and set the nozzle size/line width to 0.6mm
Just finished this print using the settings you suggested for the Neptune 3 Max in Cura. Is there anything else I should adjust? Seeing some really jagged layers and some very slight stringing.
Any help is much appreciated
- dont print a benchy with a raft/brim. a benchy print is supposed to be a test print, this includes bed adhesion. print with brim defeats that purpose
- your print looks good aside from the jagged layer, i barely see any stringing. calibrate your printer if you have done it before, e-steps, flow%, temp tower, retraction tower.
Calibrated and started my first helmet print... No idea what I'm doing wrong here... Ugh sorry for my noobishness...
This is looking all kinds of jacked up. I'm just letting it finish so I can try to fix it sanding
After seeing it crack the entire way around I just stopped it.
any ideas what would cause this kind of stringing and print fail?
Bump... Made a few other prints and getting the same issues.
Ran through calibrations and when things are small they print great as soon as I try to print something large I get the issues like with the helmet
do they start at certain height ?
