Anyone know how to level the bed of ender 3 max Neo? videos aren’t doing it for me

I’ve had the standard ender 3 for a couple years and after lots of maintenance issues I decided to upgrade to the ender 3 max neo. I’ve watched videos on how to level the bed but I seem to be not doing it right still. What I did was I set the Z offset until the nozzle was a paper thickness away from bed, then leveled the corners with the knobs, then I used the auto leveler but then after that process was done I checked the middle with a piece of paper again and it was way too low. What did I do wrong? And what is the process for starting my first print with this? Is it preheat, auto home, and then I can just also set printing?

Also I know I post in this channel a lot so thank you to everyone who puts up with and answers all my questions.

ADDITION: Also do I need to manually level with paper each print or do I just need to do the auto leveling?

i dont know how much you will need to calibrate. but it shouldn't be every print unless something is wrong with the springs?

I have 2 of these printers. I have manually leveled the bed maybe twice per printer since getting them. Make sure you do this after you have let the bed heat up for 10 or so minutes to warm up. Then auto level after. I have found success just alcohol cleaning before each print. I also used to use BedWeld off Amazon for prints that worked amazing. Feel free to ask anything.

All printed since those ONLY two manual levels. So no I would say you almost should never need to once dialed in

Also do you know what could be causing this detail to not be coming through? They came through on my standard ender 3 but not this even tho it’s brand new

There is a way to calibrate that if you look up videos I never had that issue though

The layers look like they are flowing too much if that makes sense setting flow rate to like 95 or something could be a test. The over extruding tests usually are measuring length of filiment used vs supposed to be used and adjusting accordingly
