So are you looking for like a modeling clay to be able to sculpt the broken pieces from that could stick to the 3d print well? If I'm understanding right.
I dont know what kinds of other clay there are thay work well or that maybe some other people have used, but I like Apoxie sculpt. It is a 2 part scuplting clay with the adhesive properties of epoxy. It works really well and has stuck to prints fine for me
Yea exactly what I’m looking for!
It's a little expensive but it works great.
You mix together equal amount of each part, i usually roll a little ball of both parts and just eyeball if its equal. I also suggest wearing some gloves when mixing the clay and working with it cause it can stain your hands but it does wash off eventually so it's up to you about the gloves. Then when it comes to sticking it to the print, if it's a flat area you want it to stick too, scuff up the surface and maybe scratch a few lines in the area then you can press the clay into the area. The more surface area the clay has to adhere to the better adhesion you'll have. It has a 1–3 hour working time I believe if I remember right, and 24 hour curing time
