With my elegoo Neptune 3 max I started printing pieces to an animated phase 2 clone trooper and the front came out fantastic, however when I moved onto the back… not so much. Layer shifts were crazy and on my last two attempts the infill on the bottom layer wasn’t even in the lines anymore, other prints came out the same, side note there seems to have been a newer ‘squeaky’ noise possibly originating from the nozzle area
#print is all over the place

Adding on, cylinder print was fine before, as in the shifts started occurring on the back and I took a rest and started on these extra little bits for the helmet and it was perfectly normal, and then I went back to the back, still not great, then tried the extras again and they came out terrible.
I would start by checking the tightness of all your belts. If something is loose that could cause some of the issues you're experiencing.
Have been for a bit, seems to help but the issue is still majorly present
I may mention it’s heavily if not all present on the y axis
Is your hotend loose by chance?
That was my next thought! Just got done with exam week so I have free time to mess with it
If you can wiggle it on the gantry easily its too loose. You want it snug where there is little to no play in it, but not so overly tight that it can't roll smoothly.
My x axis belt has a split at the end and the clamp can’t hold on so that’s great 🤷♂️
That may be causing slippage and the bad print quality. Belts are cheap, but on a new printer that shouldn't have happened.
You might have tightened them a bit to much then there should be a little play on the belts. Like gitar string tight
