Printing is super safe, just don’t have it on carpet or next to something super flammable, if you’re really worried you can get an enclosure for it to ensure it has its own space. But seriously it’s not very dangerous I have 2 just sitting on a Walmart table with a bunch of crap surrounding it

Almost every modern 3d printer now comes with thermal safety & protection.
In the rare occassion that a fire occur most 3d farm places a fire grenade extinguisher above the printers which automatically detonates when it is near a fire
I run 10 printers about 24/7... the risk certainly is there.. its at a minimum though... dont put flammables near your printers... the newer models already have thermal runway built in so if the temp goes awry the printer shuts down anyhow
the filament isnt going to catch fire.. the small portion that would in most cases wouldnt have much to catch more on.. its dangling in the air
