I know you need to print slower for sword blades, but I want a rough estimate as to how slow you should go. I slowed my print speed to 30 mm/s on my SV03 and still had a lot of wobble, picture in comments below, and I'm not sure if it's still too fast, if sword blades are just that notoriously tricky, or if anybody has any tips or tricks to make tall prints come out a little bit better. TL;DR: you can't beat physics

This just ended up being way too much wobble to be able to sand, and I ended up warping the blade more than smoothing it. Would printing on a smaller printer be more useful? Would slowing it down even more help?
How do you orient it?
The orientation is more important than the speed
You want the wide side to be parallel with how the bed move
Ohhh! That might help. I oriented it so it was lengthwise with the x axis. My theory was don't let the bed move as much and it won't want to wobble
Yeah, the bed moves either way.
You want to orient the piece so that when the bed moves it is sturdy
Its a very common misconception
Ah! Gotcha! Thanks! Another thing I thought about was support towers on either side to give it structure so it wouldn't want to wobble as much
Ime i never needed it
Awesome! Thank ya!
Best of luck
