I was trying to unclog the nozzle on my end or three, because I was having trouble printing. And then all of a sudden it just started smoking. The hardened wasn’t on fire or anything, but there was smoke coming from the inside of the nozzle, what should I do?

This is just a picture of the aftermath, because when I saw it smoking, I immediately turned it off

What were you doing to it when it started to smoke

#

And what was the color, smell, etc

#

Cause you could have mistaken it to be water vapor in the filament

I was pushing the Bowden tube through the hot end without the nozzle on to try and clear the inside, when I removed it, the hot end started smoking from the inside. The color was a kind of light grey and it smelled like a stovetop

  1. Don’t ever use your Bowden tube or anything plastic/flammable to clean out your hot end
#

Use an old Alan key you don’t need anymore or the clogging needles

#
  1. Let’s see the end of the Bowden tube

You probably toasted your Bowden tube a bit

#

You should be fine

Ok

Also 1 more thing

#

Whenever I try to use my Ender-3 it always clogs up really bad, what do you recommend to fix it?

It’s probably either not cut flush or not into your hotend all the way

#

How hot did you have your hot end?

#

The Bowden tube shouldn’t be smoking unless you have it near the higher end of your temps or put it in too long
