So I'm currently working on printing out a battery holder. Basic visual is image 1.

On the bottom front is a lip, which another part of my print uses to slide and secure against. Clearly visible in image 2 in Cura 5.3.0 during the Prepare step. However, I slide over to Preview and I end up with image 3. The lip is gone; the floor of the battery holder is raised to meet the top of the lip. This not only prevents other parts from correctly integrating, but also makes the compartment too small for the battery. What's more, it bloody prints this way as seen in image 4.

What's causing this to happen and how can I fix it? The lip is preserved if I print on the side with supports, but there's a peg hole in the back that is nearly impossible to excavate the same supports from.

Setting "Surface Mode" to "Both" looks like it may address the issue.
Can't test until tomorrow due to a current print.

Solved.
Several of the faces on the interior of the interior had normals that were flipped around.
Flipped them correctly and Cura likes it now.
