Hello, I am trying to motorized an iron man helmet, and was wondering what kind of servos I should use. Are there servos with limits? Or should I use ones that can continuously rotate in one direction and limit it with code?

MG90S 180 degree servos. If your pairing it with an arduino get “digital” with the three wires.

Test them upon arrival also, use the included horn to confirm they actually rotate 180 degrees. I had two separate batches of 360 degrees sent that caused me all sorts of trouble.

@worldly bronze I have ordered 180 degree before, but they rotate continuously. Do you have any recommendations?

Yea I had the same issue. Ordered some of aliexpress then some from Amazon. All were 360 degrees. Return those.

If you can find genuine tower pro brand get those but I could only find clones in Canada.

Also depends which helmet your printing. Walsh for instance modelled his servo mounts with a “wider” MG90S servo. But if your using a crashworks motorization kit they have different mounts that should work
