I’m sure the title is self explanatory.
File: Articulated axolotl off of Thingiverse
Printer: Ender 5 Plus, BL touch activated (code g29 inputted so it auto levels each print, bed is also manually leveled)
Filament: Inland’s Silk PLA (sill blue & silk silver dual color)
215°C, Bed temp 65°C. 0.2 layer height, printed at 80mm/s with a raft
I can’t tell if these boogers are over extrusion or a wobbly gantry/loose belts. They only happen on one side of the model and not the other so i’m thinking it’s likely a loose belt/gantry etc.
I’m fine with the stringing but I don’t want to sand/primer/fill this model since I bought the filament for the color lol
The raft came out great, no issues at all with it, just the artifacts on one side and top the model itself

looks like overextrusion
hm. here’s the benchy i printed probably like an hour or so before the axolotl
same settings etc etc just different filament
it has some layer issues on both at different points but the benchy didn’t have any artifacts
ahh okay, i will definitely try that the second time. I’m not home bc of college but when i get back home in a few weeks i’ll play around with extrusion and temp :) i didn’t know silk needed lower! tysm
