Hi,

I’m having an issue with my motorization. The motors are unable to carry the faceplate up and Im not sure why. Im using mg 90s and in most cases they are decent at coming down but unable to come up. I had an issue with printing the faceplate and it doesn’t quite fit well with the helmet and I’m not sure why either. I tried adjusting the open close position in the code and still they aren’t able to do anything. I followed the same wiring map from the frankly built videos and the trigger is working just motors are unable to lift the faceplate. Need to finish in a couple days Pls help!!

Hey @cyan basin
It could be the position of the helper arms. Mine did something very similar and I played with the position of the helper arms and it was aligned better afterwards.
Hope it helps.

That’s closing pretty fast. Check that you don’t have your servos reversed. Easy way to check is if the LEDs turn on when the faceplate is closed not open

I was trying these fixes but when I powered on the arduino this morning, the servo started to turn in bursts or just make these noises. I tried adjusting the code but not sure what the issue is

This started when I switched the pins of motors and it’s actually working normally when I switched it back

I think I changed too much in the code where the open and close pos are conflicting trying stuff ilyk how it goes
