- Fire up the nozzle to 230.
- Take off the Bowden tube.
3.Take off the nozzle. (careful not to burn yourself)
4.Take off the coupler.
5.Take some Bowden tube then feed it through to scrape the inside of the hot end.
6.Put the nozzle on while the hotend is heated (careful not to burn yourself)
7.Push filament through it and make sure it comes out straight.
8.Put it back together.
9.Make sure the bowden is cut straight and clean too, to make sure there is no leak between the bowden tube and nozzle
are these supports that are being printed?
releveling the bed is the first thing you should do.
another thing that might help is to rub a glue stick on the surface you are printing on.
i do this tiny minis that have lots of supports and long and thin prints that may peel up on the first layer
dont rub glue stick onto your bed, you will ruin the special coating on it
I dont think its a clog bc it prints well for the first few layers
I have used a glue stick i bought at the dollar store (8pak) on my glass print surface. besides a mess i need to clean up ever so often i have not seen any damage to my print surface. could you give me a source about why not to use a glue stick?
i am a newbie.
the picture you posted clearly does not show it printing properly for the first layer,
check for clogs, relevel the bed, then print a bed level square
the fist layer should be squished into the bed
“For users of a 3D printer, the quality of accessories also plays an important role in the experience of printers. Today we will introduce one of the accessories, which is the platform stickers in 3D printers. In daily printing, some people may like to use masking paper or apply solid glue. But the solid glue is difficult to make the model remove, and the blade is also easy to damages the platform. Moreover, if the solid glue is used for a long time, the residue of the platform will increase, which will lead to the unsightly bottom of the model” this isn’t say that the glue ruins, the special coating, if you try to use a knife to scrape it off, yeah that’ll ruin the special coating.
If you’re a dirty printer, who always uses glue sticks and never cleans his glass, then you’ll get heavy build up, which will be a pain in the glass to remove. I clean mine with a plastic scrub brush if it’s bad enough otherwise, I just wipe it off with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel. And because it is a pain, I only use glue sticks when necessary
