Doing some long overdue checks on my 3D printer. Surprisingly the steps were all good but the corners appear to be bulging, and just don’t look great overall. Not really sure where I should be going to fix it.

is that a common one?

my outer wall speed is 50, which seems fine and reasonable for an ender 3

Yeah that seems like a reasonable speed. I am not sure.

ill tune it down a little. Could retraction have anything to do with it?

Honestly man I'm not sure I am qualified enough to answer. Could try asking in "Chat-Modeling" room, seems to be some knowledgeable ppl in there

fast solution, lower speed
long solution, calibrate speed, jerk and acceleration

also note that FDM 3d printers are not highly precise machinery, smalldimensional inaccuracy is expected, unless it affects your print quality i wouldnt bother with it
