Your printer head is way too high
You need to raise your bed or change your z offset. The nozzle isn't close enough to the bed
How do I change my z offset?
If you go to the leveling menu there's an up arrow, home button and down arrow on the side. While your Z is at zero, you can then press down until it's close enough to the bed plate
I recommend checking out some leveling vids toake sure you're squared away there. Pinging you in Jarvis hotline with one from Frank
Not all printers have that setting though
Right, but they said cr10s pro v2, which is the same printer I have and I'm thinking that comes standard
Ok
So it’s the next day, and I tried Frank’s Aux leveling advice. However, the nozzle started scraping the bed and pushing down on it way too hard. I’m kinda afraid to start leveling again because I don’t want anything to break. Any suggestions?
@real patio
You can try some manual safer leveling outside of aux leveling first to make sure the bed isn't too lopsided. Get your z zeroed out at z home and then back out and go to the move setting. Raise the z, then move the x and y to one of the corners. Then move your z down in small increments to make sure it's not pushing too hard on the bed. Then turn your leveling knob to lower the bed as well. Eventually get down to Z being 0.0 and the nozzle not scraping. Once you have all the corners a safer distance, you can go back into aux and auto leveling.
It essentially does the same thing, but just makes sure you're lowered enough to not wreck your bed by the automated movements
Kinda like this, except with knob turns if you start pressing at any point
(sorry for all the missed taps, it's hard to hold the phone and tap at the same time 😅)
The 4 screws underneath the corners of the heating bed plate
Oh
These screws?
yep yep, those are the ones you turn to manually raise & lower the bed
@real patio Ok, I used the .2 mm measurer and ran it through the measurement again.
