Sup y’all! Just want to post here for anyone who is and maybe thinking of getting PLA+ filament. I should’ve taken pictures of the monstrosity of my adhesion but it is what it is. Anyway, I couldn’t get the filament to sit well on my bed. Thought my heat bed wasn’t leveled. Had to do it multiple times and still couldn’t get that sucker to stick. Now, the reel states the temps acceptable for this filament. So, I started playing with the knob. And I think I found the sweet spot.

PLA: 210
Bed: 65

Please, if any have encountered such nightmare, comment below. Suggestions , tips what have you are more than welcome. Thanks.

idk. it's printing just fine. messed up and didn't put supports everywhere instead of building from plate. oh well, at least is for my gameroom.

yeah that is called warping, caused by poor bed adhesion, which is likely caused by your bed being too far

if you are happy with it, great!
if not, you know what to do

oh definitely. when i woke up, it was already around 40%. i wasn't going to stop it for that little hiccup. i have some stainless steel shims that i fabricated at work. I use the .020mm first and then .010 to finish it off. All my other prints look great. maybe because PLA+ is different?

i have never used PLA, only PLA+. never have any issue with it
from what i heard they are practically the same while PLA+ is slightly tougher

well, just got notified that they're going turn off the power for some transformer work. and i'm in the middle of the print. i guess it's now a waste. damn

you can try to pause the print, turn the printer off, tape the print to the bed so it does not come off when the bed cools, then continue the print when the power comes back on

hopefully it will continue without problem

Ender 3 V2. It still looks good. But when i woke up i realised i forgot to put supports everywhere due to Goku's arms and hair covering his face. So, already, i'm wasting filament but it was already around 45% into. I was not going to stop it. If it was for someone, i'll start over. But i dont really care. i can go back and do another one once i perfected the craft of this printer. Plus, adhesion wasn't all that great but again, it's for me. i'll post a pic here in a bit for ya'll to see where it's at and what i'm talking about

I put tape because I had to pause and turn of the printer. The city was going to shut down the power to work on one of the transformers. And right by his chest, you can see where I left off and began again. Bummer but oh well.

you can probably bind and sand it, but thats a lot of work
