I need help guys. What is the best color red spray paint to get for a mk3 iron man helmet. My helmet has a base coat of black so I need something to go over that. Thanks guys

@fading sedge Is the duplicolor only a metal spray paint? I bought the MC200 Dupli-Color Metalcast Dupli-Color Paint not even realizing it’s a metal pain and it didn’t work on my helmet

I just saw frank had it on his Amazon list and I trusted his purchase lol😅

Honestly your best bet is to give it a base coat of silver or gold and put duplicolor metal cast red that has the best results I’ve seen

@dusk marten really? I already have the base layer of black but if necessary I can spray another layer of my grey primer then put that metal cast red on top. I tried spraying the metal cast red on top of the black and it doesn’t show at all

I’m not sure about grey but I’ve only seen silver and gold base coats look the best

Hey, not a spray paint, but Hexflex Stark Red is a really pretty one!

If you have an airbrush, everything is a spray paint if you are brave enough 😁

It offers a nice metallic shine. Don't mind the suit behind it

I bought mine through Paintnuts.co.uk as I live in the UK and don't have access to the duplicolor paint range and this was the best alternative that I could find. I am sure stateside car paint specialists will offer a paint matching service similar to this one.
