Hello everyone, this is my first time trying to make a house beat, I started producing 3 days ago. Let me know what you think and what should I do to improve. Also, I am using Ableton so if you have any tips for that I would greatly appreciate that!

You're off to a strong start, especially considering this was done in just three days—really impressive work. I think with a few refinements, this track could go even further. One suggestion would be to add some off-beat claps every four bars to bring more groove and movement into the rhythm. Layering in another shaker or a top loop could also add some nice texture to the high end. The main lead is solid, but adding a touch of delay would help it feel less repetitive and give it more depth.

During the breakdown and buildup, I’d recommend removing the sub-bass. Right now, it clashes with the acapella and takes away from its emotional vibe. It would be more effective if the sub hits hard when the drop lands instead. The acapella itself works well, and to enhance it, you might want to apply some reverb and automate it toward the end of the section. Adding some ambient elements like strings or pads could help fill out the space, and using a filter on them can create subtle motion and atmosphere. Also, consider adding a crash cymbal or open hat right at the start of the breakdown to mark the transition and give it more impact.

Overall, the concept is great. Just focus on refining the details and breathing more life into each section. There are no rules in music—just tools. Keep experimenting, trust your instincts, and enjoy the process. Good luck on your journey!
