I like the break beat middle 8. Ending needs a tweak so it's more dj friendly. 2.04 on, a breakdown with just the songs base key and some slicer tricks with the vocal maybe. I love the old skool flavour.... craft a 4-4 intro

Its really loud / wide right before the drop... its best to tame things before the drop, so when the drop hits it sounds extra huge
The Calm Before plugin is great for this. Or you can just apply the theory behind the plugin (i.e. creating a period of calm before the drop by narrowing the width, reducing gain, etc...)

The plugin? It automates all the stuff one would do before a drop as a producer. Low and high cuts (with resonance if desired), narrow stereo image, reduce gain, add some washout.
All those parameters are linked to one knob, so the automation takes 5 seconds
mainly meant as a time saver
