#Organise tracks in rekordbox
48 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
what you can do is use the # number column on the left, if you cant see this then right click anywhere on the tracklist and you should see the '#' there. enable that and then you can arrange your tunes sort of 'by number' .
"If you cannot change the order of tracks in a playlist, that is because you have got the playlist sorted by a column other than the number. So maybe you have sorted the column by BPM or KEY or ARTIST, you cannot override this sorting. To change the order, click the # Number column at the top to sort by number, then you can drag and move tracks around to change the order." 👍 this info is from James' course on digital dj tips where he explains how he organises his tunes so that they are in order, and not by BPM, Genre etc @latent rover
i can t see that
you cant see the '#' ?
your track numbers on the left of the main window....you dont see the numbers?
is it far right? how many columns you got enabled?
is first time when i m using rekordbox
ok.... so right click on the colum bars and a pop up will come...do you see that?
yes you got it
and what i need is track number i think, right?
should be yes. but the # should be there by default!
is it a free version or something?
yeah
ahh maybe thats why. not all features are enabled. what controller you got?
pioneer flx4
maybe 😦
try the 'key' feature from the pop up box
or you could just try everything lol but it should be there. i dont think you can even move that column
I'll try, thanks, but I sure don't have that "#"
it really should be there. its the main way to organise tracks. its not in the pop up, ive checked that, not even a google could answer it! well weird!
hmm, ok thanks for your time, i'll try to reinstall
no worries. please let me know if you sort it tho.
okk

...
this is a good video anyway from the start. you should watch it 👍 @latent rover ^^
finally, thank youuu
I got a free rekordbox version as well, but you have full acess to all features with a controller license. So you should have everything, I believe the # is track number
okk, thank you 🚁🔥
The '#' column cannot be added or removed - the reason it's not showing up for djlova is because they're looking at either the Collection or Explorer tabs. The '#' column is exclusive to Playlists.
Track Number is the order of the track in an album.
now that you say this i feel so dumb haha, ofcourse the track number is not shown in the collection tab
bro who still uses skype?
people who mistake a drop video for moving different ! im still thinking about what i wrote and wonder why.
hahahaah
i used to use it for my chinese contact for my business.
ohhhh
they could only use skype because most vid chats are banned
now they use large balloons over america !
