Yo guys, this is is the track I've been working, it is still not finished and not properly mastered. What do you think about it?

sick idea, but i feel like the bassline needs to be a more a bit more groovier since its really upfront in the track but thats just my opinion, love the vocals, 2:08 i feel like u could have some like panned delay that plays until the break kicks in, the 2nd build needs a better snare roll imo feel like its not progressing as much as it needs too, love the synth on the drop but i feel like it could be longer and go for like 8 or 16 beats instead of just 4 and if ur using serum for it you could maybe automate the detune to give it this cool effect as it rises, also i feel like the track gets a bit repetitive over time, but overall sick track
ayo yeh this is deep n cool. im sure theres some more things to drop in as you said its not finished. my only crit is the synth on the breakdown, its very low in the mix and personally i wouldve chopped it up into segments so that you could double it up x2 x4 etc for the rise. i do like the editing on the vocals tho. edit just an addition, perhaps add some delay to the vocals and pan them. another cracker Milyo 🙂
Thanks! The synth on the drop is actually getting detuned with automation . I am not sure about extending as it acts more as a mini-riser, not a sound on the drop. Very good point about the snare, definitely needs more work, never realized until now. I think the bassline is groovy enough, the problem might be caused by the kick, I need to shape it some more, this will probably make the track bounce better.
Thanks man, really cool idea regarding the synth, I will try that and see how it works. I'll definitely turn it up more in the mix. In which section are you referring to the delay on the vocals? Right now in the breakdown there is quite a big delay applied to them and during the part where the vocal loop is getting tighter there is also some panning going on, it's just that is subtle at the moment.
yeh the vox in the breakdown. what i was trying to say is to delay them like you would on a dj mixer, i.e. really filling out the delay and echo so that they kinda doble back on themselves....i wish i could explain better lol.
I think I understand now, I'll play with the delay more. thank you so much
no worries. really like your style dude 😉
