love the vocals and reese bass but i feel like the drums come in very like out of nowhere try add a riser or like have the drums filtered with the reverb or something like that, i love the use of the we do what we want sample very groovy, i feel like the build could use more than just that riser, aswell as on the drop it doesnt really pack the punch and doesnt really feel like a drop try putting some more vocal chops and maybe having the first part of the drop just the kick maybe but thats just my opinion, sick track tho i really like it and i think it has alot of potential :)

sounds sick but i feel like theres too much low end missing from the vocals to the point where it sounds a bit wierd like its cutting some other frequncies? also the we do what we want sample has too much high end now it kinda hurts ur ears try keeping a little more of the bass in bc ur current bass is very subby

queen niche
#

okay lemme have a look

queen niche
#

I did do a low cut on the synth

errant relic
#

yeah but try keep some more of it in

#

bc ur bass is very subby

#

and i feel like youve cut a bit too much low end maybe

queen niche
#

yeah I just cant find a good mid bass

#

yeah I think you're right

errant relic
#

try it out see how it goes :)

queen niche
#

oooo

#

sounds a lot better

#

you smart man

errant relic
#

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ oooooo

queen niche
#

I might need to automate the EQ so that the low cut is still there in the breakdown, I feel like it's made it too bassy for the breakdown

#

thoughts?

errant relic
#

yeah

#

do that on the vocals and sample

#

also try add a string on the part where its just the sample and the vocal

#

or some ambience

queen niche
#

there is a string and a clock there, can you not hear it?

#

might need to make it louder

errant relic
#

yeah try that

#

just needs to fill some more space

#

try add a riser

#

one thats longer

#

if that makes anysense

#

so u can hear it earlier on

queen niche
#

yeah

errant relic
#

or maybe one thats more noticable

queen niche
#

Okay I think im getting there, made an extended mix

#

I think the bass is too quiet now

errant relic
#

sick but theres a bit too much reverb on the clap id say, the strings a bit too loud, try add some delay in the bits where hes not singing like those little gapes automate the delay dry / wet also the sample comes into fast try do like a reverb build so make another channel with like the start of the sample like just play one note and have the reverb decay time at max at dry / wet at like 50 and automate the volume to go from none to full and then when the actual sample starts playing put the volume straight back down

#

also get rid of the low end on everything before u do that

#

so automate the low end

#

on the reese and stuff
